An entrepreneur at heart, at the age of twelve, I learned the power of compound interest and immediately began cutting grass for income to start saving for retirement. In college, instead of getting a part-time job, I purchased prepaid phone cards and ATMs wholesale and sold them to convenience stores. Upon graduating, I turned down a job offer from PricewaterhouseCoopers to build and then successfully sell a vending machine business. I later moved to Austin and purchased a stone fabrication company. After 4Xing the company in 3 years, I sold it, which allowed me to retire at the age of 33.
Today, I am driven by the belief that I can make a meaningful impact by sharing the lessons I have learned—oftentimes the hard way—to help other entrepreneurs get more of what they want out of their businesses.
I am married with two young kids, and after being a nomadic family for three years—traveling around the country and world—we now live in the Texas Hill Country.
